Fees
Since all services are customized to the senior's needs, every move is different. We start with a FREE consultation at the senior's home to assess their needs and prepare an estimate from that evaluation.
Charges for Senior Transition Services are based on hourly rates and take into consideration the scope of the project, and what work, if any, the senior and their family will complete themselves. All services are private-pay (i.e. not covered by medicare, medicaid, PassPort or Senior Options). Making referrals for other services is an integral part of our service, however we do not recieve referrals fees from the companies we recommend. If you are a "do-it-yourselfer", and only need referrals and a general consultation, ask about our Move Planning Program. For a small charge, we will provide referrals and advice throughout your move via the phone or e-mail.
For full-service clients, STS will be happy to recommend or arrange for other necessary services with reputable companies such as for pre-sale home repairs like carpet or flooring replacements, painters, handymen, etc.
STS is not a moving company. We will recommend a moving company when it is time to load, transport, and unload your furniture and boxes, or we will work with the mover of your choice. Moving services are contracted directly between the moving company and the senior.
